Kahvi Label night

Wednesday evening sees the festival kick off in fine style with a midweek Melodic IDM session from our hosts on the main stage: the prolific Kahvi Collective Netlabel. They’ll be celebrating their 10 year anniversary by presenting a taster of their extensive artist roster with a special showcase from Abyssal Plains & Xurba from the UK and Finnish auteur Lackluster.

The lounge area will be filled with the sounds of Mo Sauer from the fantastic online magazine Phlow & Sven Swift, from the German 12rec netlabel, will be bringing along his esoteric selection of shoegaze, experimental and electronica. You’ll also be treated to the lowercase sounds of Autistici plus more tba.

Across Shunt you will find a variety of audio-visual installations – from computer generated orchestras to interactive sound tools for you to experiment with.

From 6pm-11pm the Netaudio Market opens its doors: on offer are a raft of opportunities for you to engage with sound tools, electronic kit, cutting edge software and outlandish ideas.
