CDR Netaudio Session
Following on from their infamous Plastic People sessions burntprogress presents the CDR Netaudio Session.
Tony Nwachukwu of Attica Blues and Gavin Alexander have become inspired, not only by their own musical productivity but by the work of fellow ground-breaking musicians and producers, to set up a platform for the airing of new ideas, works in progress, unreleased songs, remixes, and edits.
From the confines of music manifested within laptops, bedroom studios, sampling sequencers and digital multi-tracks. Music producers can at last air their tunes to a like-minded audience within the setting of an intimate venue.
Featuring ‘Open CDR’: submit your own productions to be played within our DJ Set! The CDR sessions features a section of the night where tracks submitted by fellow music producers are played. The music policy is simple:-
- Expressive electronic music.
- Vocals and songs encouraged.
An innovative platform for new and unreleased music, burntprogress will compose DJ sets of your works in progress on a big sound system.
You can submit tracks on CDR. Please hand them in at the Netaudio info stall at Shunt – remember to mark the CD trackname and artist name. Alternatively you can submit tracks online, simply upload them to our SoundCloud Dropbox.
