Hand Baked Arcade
The Hand Baked Arcade is a temporary social space that can be setup anywhere from a club night to a squatted art space. We build the ultimate retro gaming area, working with whatever space we have from single monitor setups to multiple projected screens and full size arcade machines!
Being huge fans of old school Sega we own a vast range of Megadrive and Master System games, consoles and accessories, all of which can be set up through multiple video projectors for gaming on huge screens! On top of this, we have many other simultaneous setups available including SNES, NES, Atari 2600, Binatone Sports System, Tetris, Pacman and Space Invaders. We also build our own arcade cabinets running MAME emulators enabling each machine to contain hundreds of games.
The experience is never 100% complete without a damn good soundtrack to complement the gaming. That’s where the ‘chiptunes’ come in… at any event we can set up a sound system for live acts and/or pre-recorded music supplied by Hand Baked Records. For this performance they will be setting up their arcade with Disrupt and members of the audience can add some pixelated visuals to the audio delights by playing an original Atari 2600 on a large projected screen!
The Hand Baked Arcade can be experienced as part of Disrupt’s performance performance on Saturday 25th October on the Netaudio London Stage.
