D'Incise

D’Incise, born in 1983, is member of the Audioactivity music & visual collective which was founded in Geneva (CH) in 2000 . In 2002 he started to produce different kinds of electronic music, from dub to electronica, dangerously sliding towards the more experimental ways of electroacoustic. His world is made up of sound fractures, nevralgic crepitations, melancolic atmospheres and a non-dissimulated fascination for rust and faded rhythms.

He also pratices free improvisation, using a laptop, live treatments and various objects with contakt mics, collaborating with a few electronic or acoustic musicians. Karst (duet with drummer Cyril Bondi) and Diatribes (open trio, closer to freejazz, with Bondi* and guests) are his two main improvised projects.

D’Incise is also a solo live act, closer to electronica in sound, where he operate fluctuations suites of rythmic pulsions, simple melodies and noise waves for a destroyed dancefloor.

He coordinates the Insubordinations netlabel, a label dedicated to improvised music and collectively coordinates the Audioactivity netlabel.
