Sven Swift

Sven Swift has been into Netaudio and free music for roundabout four years now. With an art school- and DIY-background, he founded the CDr- and Netlabel www.12rec.net back in 2004. The label is run by Swift and long-time partner Sim Sullen. 12rec.net publishes music from a wide range of genres including Folk, Hip Hop, Postrock, Ambient and Electronica.

Due to 12rec.net, Sven Swift writes about free music at www.Phlow-Magazine.com, www.EarLabs.org and his own blog www.RUBored.org. He published several mixtapes and was the coordinator of the www.ThirteenSongs.net – project. Just recently, Swift teamed up with Filippo “Flip” Aldovini of www.Zymogen.net to start a Netlabel dedicated to contemporary Hip Hop music: www.Error-Broadcast.com. He produces electro-acoustic Ambient music as The Love Songs.
