Swiss Cultural Fund in Britain
The Swiss Cultural Fund in Britain (SCFB) operates as a springboard for the careers of talented Swiss artists in the UK. As a new initiative, the SCFB now also supports high-profile projects with established artists and offers direct involvement to potential supporters and benefactors.
In order to achieve these goals the Fund liaises with companies and individuals with a acknowledged interest in Switzerland. At the same time it seeks supporters with whom it can establish privileged partnerships, working on specific projects and on bespoke events in cooperation with cultural institutions in Switzerland and the UK.
Cenatus Music Projects gratefully acknowledges financial support from the Swiss Cultural Fund in Britain. Netaudio’08 is based on a Swiss concept, which has been showcased with Netaudio’05 in Berne/Switzerland. The 2008 festival in London keeps its ties to Switzerland and presents the Swiss acts The Passive Resistance, D’Incise as well as Quarion, who releases on the Swiss label Drumpoet Community. The 2008 festival production is lead by Andi Studer, a Swiss expat living in the UK and receives support from the original festival promoter Markus Koller, starfrosch.ch/Bern.
